Kennel Visits

Visits to ENSO Garden Kennel are by appointment only.

As we frequently go out with the dogs for activities, the exact meeting location will be provided after your inquiry.

Visits may take place at one of the following locations:

• the dog run (ENSO DOG FOREST)
• the kennel
• our office

Please note that depending on the condition of the parent dogs, interaction with them may not always be possible.

Visits for puppies are limited to one family per day in order to ensure a calm and safe environment for the puppies.

Because puppies have not yet completed their vaccination program, we kindly ask visitors not to bring their own dogs.

For biosecurity reasons, please do not visit our kennel after visiting other kennels or after contact with animals on the same day.

Waiting List System

Due to the irregular nature of Lagotto litters, we operate a waiting list system for those interested in a puppy.

This allows us to manage reservations responsibly and plan our breeding program according to demand.

Puppy Reservation Process

Puppy availability will be announced through:

• Instagram
• our website

Families on the waiting list may express their interest in a litter when the puppies are approximately two weeks old.

Reservation opportunities will be offered in order of waiting list registration.

After discussing the details and meeting the puppies, you may decide whether to proceed with a reservation.

If you decide not to reserve a puppy, your position on the waiting list will remain unchanged.

Please note:

We do not contact waiting list members individually.
If you are interested in a litter, you must contact us after the announcement.

General Availability

If a puppy is not reserved by families on the waiting list, it will be offered for general availability.

In that case, the general price will apply.

Waiting Time

ENSO Garden Kennel does not always have puppies available.

Depending on breeding plans and waiting list demand, the waiting time may be several years.

If your lifestyle changes or you decide to adopt a dog from another breeder during this period, there is no obligation.

Our priority is to find families who truly value and care for their dogs.

If you are planning to welcome a puppy several years in the future, please let us know.

Puppy Pickup

Japanese law requires in-person transfer of puppies.

If possible, we ask families to visit the kennel twice:

1️⃣ when the puppy is reserved
2️⃣ on the pickup day

For families living far away, the first meeting may be arranged via video call, but pickup must always be in person.

Puppy Placement

Puppies remain with their mother and siblings for social development.

Therefore puppies are placed after 70 days of age, following:

• veterinary health check
• microchip implantation

Although Japanese law allows transfer after 56 days, we believe that a longer time with the mother and littermates contributes to better social development.

Neutering / Spaying Policy

Pet puppies are sold under a spay / neuter agreement.

Pedigree papers will be issued after confirmation of the surgery.

If there is a specific reason why the surgery cannot be performed, please contact us in advance.
In such cases, pedigree papers may not be issued and a non-breeding agreement will be required.

Unauthorized breeding or commercial use without our permission may result in legal action.

These policies exist to protect the future of our dogs and prevent irresponsible breeding.

Puppy Price

The following prices apply for families registered on the waiting list.

Male puppy: 800,000 JPY
Female puppy: 850,000 JPY

(valid until September 2026)

Prices may vary depending on pedigree and individual quality.

The price includes:

• vaccinations
• microchip
• veterinary health check
• pedigree registration

Each puppy also receives:

• Libretto Sanitario (health booklet)
• starter food (2.7kg)

Our Commitment

If a serious congenital disease or death occurs within 30 days of transfer, we will provide a replacement puppy when available.

However, veterinary expenses or treatment costs cannot be reimbursed.

Puppies are living beings, not products.
For this reason, returns or exchanges are not accepted.

Lifetime Responsibility

If at any time an owner becomes unable to keep the dog due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us.

We will assist in rehoming the dog responsibly.

Under no circumstances should the dog be abandoned or passed on irresponsibly.

Our highest priority is always the well-being and future of our dogs.
